About the Course

This course delves into environmental issues, personal impact, and sustainable practices, empowering students to become informed and proactive environmental stewards.


Course Highlights:


Understanding Environmental Impact:

  • Exploring how human activities affect the environment, including topics such as pollution, climate change, and resource depletion.

  • Discussing the concept of ecological footprints and how individual actions contribute to environmental challenges.


Exploring Sustainability:

  • Introducing the principles of sustainability and how they can be applied in everyday life to reduce environmental impact.

  • Learning about sustainable practices such as recycling, conserving energy, and reducing waste.


Investigating Local Environmental Issues:

  • Identifying and analyzing local environmental issues and challenges within the community, such as water conservation, waste management, and urban green spaces.


Hands-On Eco Projects:

  • Participating in hands-on projects that focus on sustainability and environmental conservation, such as creating a recycling program, starting a community garden, or conducting an energy audit at home.


Developing Eco-Friendly Habits:

  • Encouraging students to create personal action plans for integrating these habits into their routines.

By the end of this course, our Sprouts will have gained a comprehensive understanding of environmental issues, developed practical skills for sustainable living, and been empowered to advocate for positive change. "Green Teens" is a step toward becoming a conscious, proactive, and impactful advocate for the environment.
